We believe that the experience, judgment, connections and strategic expertise of our founders and partners are our principal defining characteristics and represent an unusual resource in a small, focused firm.

Lord Rothschild has been an active investor in alternative asset managers for over 30 years and was a founder investor in some of the most successful asset management businesses created in recent years. Lord Rothschild was a founder partner in SHP. In 2008 he reduced his active involvement by ceasing to be a partner but becoming Chairman of our Advisory Board.

Jeremy Sillem (Managing Partner) has had a career spanning over 30 years in investment banking and capital markets both in the US and Europe, which has included a focus on the asset management industry.

Knut Eirik Dahl (Partner) has been with the firm since July 2009. He has 18 years investment banking experience in M&A and capital markets, of which the last eight years has been primarily focused on the investment management sector.

Andrew Malcolm (Partner) has been with the firm since its inception and has a broad experience of corporate finance and M&A advisory work. Since joining SHP he has applied this exclusively to our financial service industry clients.

Dimitri Chandris (Associate) has been with the firm since January 2010 having focused on UK based transactions across a variety of sectors.

Alexander Fellowes (Associate) joined the firm towards the end of 2008 and has been extensively involved in transactions within the European and UK Banking sectors.
