In 2007, Crestview Partners, RIT Capital Partners and interests of Lord Rothschild, acquired a 24.9% interest in Martin Currie. Follow-on investments were made in the firm in 2009 and May 2012.
Follow-on investments were made in the firm in 2009 and May 2012. Martin Currie is a specialist fund management business based in Edinburgh, with offices in London, New York, Shanghai, Singapore and Melbourne and manages a series of funds across various long-only and long/short active equity strategies.
SHP advised the above parties on their investments in Martin Currie and held a position on the Board.
The sale of Martin Currie to Legg Mason completed in October 2014. SHP also advised the above parties on the sale.
